Associate Software Developer (Operations Track)
Full TimeJob Overview
We are looking for a Associate Software Developer to join our Operations Engineering team — the bridge between operations and engineering. You will work on controlled system fixes, account adjustments, and automation tasks, while learning real engineering best practices (Git, peer review, rollback plans, testing). Perfect for someone early in their career who understands basic software systems, APIs, and scripting, and wants to grow in a technical direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute controlled account/data fixes using safe, version-controlled processes.
- Handle incoming technical requests through the ticketing system (no side-channel work).
- Use REST APIs (SOAP is a plus) for diagnostics and controlled changes. Create or update small automation scripts (Python preferred).
- Assist with AI-based automation (e.g., MCP servers, Playwright workflows).
- Document processes, maintain runbooks, and share operational learnings.
- Collaborate with engineering on tooling improvements and automation ideas.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 1–2 years of experience in technical support, QA, DevOps, or similar (or strong technical educational background).
- Basic familiarity with .NET, APIs, and version control (Git). Scripting knowledge — preferably Python.
- Experience with automation/testing tools (Playwright is a big plus).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Willingness to learn and work with structured engineering processes.
