About the role:
The ideal candidate will ensure fulfilment of Sun King's goals by maintaining strong control over end-to-end warehouse activities, driving operational efficiencies, and enhancing warehouse processes to meet the goals set by the company’s Executive Management. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal warehouse operations with stringent controls to prevent stock losses or waste. Additionally, they will play a key role in developing policies and procedures to ensure smooth warehouse operations without compromising control measures.

The ideal candidate will ensure optimal warehouse operations with stringent controls to prevent stock losses or waste. Additionally, they will play a key role in developing policies and procedures to ensure smooth warehouse operations without compromising control measures.
What you will be expected to do:
- Operational Supervision:
- Plan, assign, and oversee warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
- Maintain optimal stock levels and coordinate with procurement/logistics team for timely replenishments.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock audits.
- Inventory and order fulfillment:
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and condition.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation for inbound and outbound transactions.
- Team Management:
- Supervise and motivate a team of warehouse staff.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety practices and equipment use.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Health, safety and compliance:
- Enforce safety policies and ensure the use of PPE and safe handling of materials.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and correct potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards and relevant regulations.
- Monitor cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space.
You might be a strong candidate if you have/are:
- BSC in supply chain management or related background.
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience in the Solar space, FMCG or related industry, within which 2 must being supervisory role.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse management procedures.
- Proficient knowledge of inventory controls, staff and products.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suites.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. English is a must.
- Good Managerial, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the use of ERP systems is an added advantage.
