Paralegal - Small Claims

Thompsons Solicitors are currently looking for a Paralegal to join our dynamic Sheffield team in the small claims department. If you thrive in a busy and rewarding environment, and have a passion for helping people, where no previous experience is required, this may be the role for you. This is the perfect opportunity for an individual who might be looking to transition to the legal sector as well as having a passion for helping people, as you will be managing a full case load of clients with relevant supervision, training and coaching. We welcome applications from all backgrounds/sectors as we can train you on the role itself once you are onboard.

Join our dynamic Sheffield team as a Paralegal, where every day offers the chance to make a real difference in people’s lives. Based in our vibrant office, you’ll benefit from comprehensive training and support, with the flexibility to move to a hybrid working arrangement once fully trained.  

 You’ll take ownership of client cases, from road traffic accidents to employer and public liability claims. This includes working closely with clients at every stage, gathering vital evidence, instructing medical experts, and managing claims with care and professionalism. Confident communication—whether by phone, email, or face-to-face—is key, as is taking responsibility for your own caseload while delivering outstanding service.

We are keen to hear from an individual with excellent organisational skills and a methodical approach to manage multiple cases at once without compromising on quality. A keen eye for detail, combined with outstanding communication and client care skills, is essential.
