From day one, you’ll receive full support and mentoring from your manager and colleagues. We offer a range of in-house training opportunities, including diploma courses, to help you develop and succeed. You’ll be guided until you’re confident and ready to work independently.
- Manage 20–30 vehicles daily, ensuring cost-effective routing.
- Maintain service levels and build strong relationships with drivers and other departments.
- Contribute to a collaborative team focused on delivering excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage daily and next-day vehicle schedules.
- Communicate effectively with drivers and internal teams.
- Allocate work in line with the Working Time Directive.
- Monitor routes using Mandata and adjust plans as needed.
- Reduce empty mileage through smart route allocation.
- Track performance and resolve issues promptly.
- Respond to emails and updates throughout the day.
- Attend team meetings and report key issues to the Planning Manager.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Good IT Skills Word/Excel
- Flexibility
- Good communication skills verbal and written
- Excellent organisational ability
- Good knowledge of the working time directive and driver regulations
- Good geographical knowledge
- Ability to problem solve whilst working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external colleagues
