If you love being hands-on, building real relationships, and making work better for everyone, this role offers the chance to have a meaningful impact from day one. You’ll be at the heart of our People Team across our US hubs, supporting employees, guiding managers, and helping drive the initiatives that shape our culture and growth.

At Gravity Global, People-First isn’t a slogan – it’s a mandate from our CEO and the foundation of every People decision we make, and this role plays a critical part in bringing that mandate to life. You will be joining a global People team that is collaborative, forward-thinking, and deeply committed to creating exceptional employee experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Trusted People Manager
  • Build string, authentic connections with employees through regular on-site presence in one of our US hubs (Houston, Minneapolis, Denver, or Northampton).
  • Serve as the first-line of HR support for US and LATAM teams, offering guidance, reassurance, and clarity on day-to-day questions.
  • Partner closely with mid-level and senior stakeholders, providing strategic and operational HR support that helps teams thrive.
People Relations
  • Manage ER matters end-to-end, including grievances, PIPs, disciplinaries, RIFs, and sensitive investigations.
  • Approach all ER situations with empathy, fairness, and an understanding of the human impact behind every decision.
  • Coach managers to handle ER issues confidently and in alignment with our People-first values.
People Experience
  • Deliver warm and engaging HR orientation sessions for new US and LATAM hires, setting the tone for a positive employee experience from the outset and regularly refining based on new hire feedback.
  • Support the execution of global People initiatives, including our continuous performance management process that emphasises learning, growth, and regular feedback.
  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis to identify development opportunities that support our people and business goals.
  • Measure and evaluate training effectiveness, using data and employee feedback to recommend meaningful improvements.
Engagement, DE&I and Organisational Growth
  • Partner with leaders on workforce planning and help shape organisational design conversations.
  • Contribute to DE&I initiatives that strengthen belonging and ensure every voice is heard.
  • Help drive employee engagement initiatives, gathering insights and feedback to improve the employee experience.
  • Champion a positive, connected, inclusive culture – always placing People at the heart of decisions.
  • Serve as the US People representative in our Culture Club (social committee), helping to champion fun, connection, and community across our hubs.
  • Represent the HR in our global Wellbeing employee resource group, helping to shape initiatives that support mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing.
People Operations
  • Work closely with our UK-based People Administrator to ensure smooth and compliant on and offboarding processes in US and LATAM (including supporting with immigration).
  • Collaborating with our global People team to align on processes, share insights, and continuously enhance our ways of working.
  • Support change transformation efforts as the company continues to evolve and scale.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Proven HR generalist experience, ideally gained in a fast-paced, high-growth, or global organisation.
  • Experience of working in a multi-site US organization.
  • Understanding and exposure to US payroll, benefits, and 401k.
  • Strong understanding of US labor laws (we currently operate in 20+ states.)
  • Genuine passion for people development, learning, and employee wellbeing.
  • Ability to coach and support managers with confidence, empathy, and clarity.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset and comfort working with people data to guide decisions.
  • A People-first mindset – you lead with humanity, curiosity, and integrity.
  • Experience of using an HRIS (HiBob) and/or ADP Workforce Now would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise own workload.
Desirable criteria:
  • Experience of working within marketing, advertising, creative, or professional service industries.
