We are looking for a recycling operative to join the operations team at our Newbridge depot. This role will be directly involved in the segregation and sorting of construction material, ensuring we maximise recovery levels from this material sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and segregating construction waste (wood,metal,plasterboard,brick)
- Cleaning and housekeeping of work area and site to ensure safe working environment
- Adhering to company health and safety policies
- Assisting with baling operations (cardboard, paper, plastics)
- Any other duties required within operational capability
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Good hand eye co-ordination
- Safety conscious – role involved working with fixed plant and conveyors, and site is busy with vehicles and mobile plant
- Role is physically demanding, requiring extended periods of standing
