Here is What Your day May Consist of:
- Assisting veterinarians with exams, treatments, diagnostics, and surgery support
- Performing lab work, sample collection, and in-house diagnostic tests (x-rays, ultrasound, in-house lab)
- Providing patient care: monitoring hospitalized pets, administering medications, maintaining medical records
- Supporting wellness and preventative care (vaccinations, dental cleanings, wellness exams)
- Educating pet owners on aftercare, nutrition, and wellness routines
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized hospital environment
Here is What You Will Bring to the Position:
- Previous experience or training as a Veterinary Technician, Veterinary Assistant, or in a similar veterinary setting
- Strong communication skills — able to interact compassionately with clients and team members alike
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic hospital environment
- Comfort working hands-on with animals (various sizes and temperaments) and assisting medical procedures
- Team-oriented mindset, reliability, and commitment to quality patient care
