As a Paralegal, you will play a key supporting role within the Employment Rights Equal Pay team, assisting lawyers with the day to day progression of claims. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the preparation and management of multi claimant equal pay cases.
- Supporting lawyers on existing files and helping to progress cases through the litigation process.
- Drafting correspondence and legal documents.
- Preparing bundles and assisting with disclosure exercises.
- Liaising with clients, tribunals, Counsel and other third parties.
- Using case management systems and Microsoft Office effectively to maintain accurate records.
You will work under supervision within a supportive team environment, producing high quality work and managing tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
Who we are looking for...
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a legal environment, ideally within litigation or employment law, although this is not essential.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- A clear and confident communication style, both written and verbal.
- An empathetic and professional approach to client care.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and manage competing priorities.
- Good IT skills and confidence using electronic case management systems.
