The Senior Marketing Associate – Smartphones will drive marketing initiatives for the company’s smartphone portfolio. The role focuses on driving brand visibility, demand generation, and customer engagement while enabling sales channels with marketing tools, campaigns, and content. This role ensures the smartphone portfolio is effectively positioned in the market and resonates with target customers.
What you will be expected to do:
- Work closely with the Global PAYG Marketing Manager to translate the strategic PAYG plan into in-country strategic and executional plans.
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to drive awareness and sales of PayGo phones.
- Create compelling product messaging, digital content, promotional materials, and sales tools for field teams.
- Enable product launches, internal and customer-facing promotions, and market activations.
- Monitor market trends, customer behaviour, and activity from industry players to inform marketing strategies.
- Work closely with Sales, Product, Customer Care, Programs Optimization, and external partners to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned and impactful.
- Assess campaign performance and provide insights for continuous improvement.
You might be a strong candidate if you have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in marketing, product marketing, or consumer electronics / telecom marketing.
- Experience in mobile phone retail marketing.
- Strong knowledge of customer-focused marketing and brand-building.
- Proficiency in campaign management tools, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with PayGo business models or consumer electronics (an advantage).
