Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex, cross-functional projects with a primary focus on Financial Crime Compliance (FCC), Fraud prevention, and risk control deployment. The ideal candidate is a natural leader who can coordinate diverse teams, manage stakeholders, and drive projects to successful and timely completion within the banking environment.
Responsibilities
- End-to-End Project Management: Lead the full project lifecycle for key initiatives, including fraud and AML control deployment, risk engine development, and dashboard implementation, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate and motivate multiple teams across technology, operations, risk, compliance, and business units to achieve project goals. Organize and lead effective working groups to solve complex problems.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate clearly and consistently with all levels of stakeholders, from working group members to senior management, to manage expectations, report on progress, and secure necessary resources.
- Progress Monitoring & Delivery: Closely monitor project progress, identify potential risks and bottlenecks, and implement mitigation strategies. Optimize resource allocation to maintain momentum and expedite project delivery without compromising on quality.
- Strategic Contribution: Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices within the organization, ensuring lessons learned are captured and applied to future initiatives.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university. A degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience:
- Proven experience (typically 3-5+ years) in a project management or similar role within a banking or financial services environment.
- Demonstrable experience managing projects with cross-functional teams.
- Domain Knowledge: (Preferred)
- Strong understanding of banking operations and the regulatory landscape.
- Working knowledge of risk management principles, Financial Crime Compliance (FCC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and fraud prevention frameworks is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with the project lifecycle involved in system deployments, engine development, and dashboard building is highly desirable.
- Core Competencies:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Certifications (A Plus): Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum Master, or similar certification is preferred but not required.
