To safely and competently operate assigned vehicles on allocated routes in a timely, professional and customer focused manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects ensuring that your vehicle is roadworthy and presentable to Company standards.
- Collect all waste from allocated customers n a timely manner.
- Compliance with all legislation including driver’s hours and highway regulations.
- Duty of care to self & others.
- Vehicle security including equipment & plant.
- Maintenance of mandatory driver/vehicle records.
- Provide customers with the highest level of service.
- Excellent awareness & understanding of Health & Safety.
This is not an exhaustive list. You may also be required to carry out any other duties as required by the business that you are qualified/trained in that meet the requirements of this role.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Hold full Class 2 driving licence
- Hold valid DCPC and valid Digital Tachograph
- Able to competently and safely operate assigned vehicles
