We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Practice Physician to join our well-established and rapidly expanding patient-centered medical group. Position Summary:
The Family Practice Physician will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages within our established outpatient clinic. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care and contributing to the continued success of our growing practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, including preventative care, acute care, and chronic disease management.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, emphasizing patient education and preventive medicine.
- Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease.
- Perform minor office procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurse practitioners and physician assistants, to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records using the fully integrated ATHENA Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Participate in a shared call system, supported by nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices.
- Potential for leadership opportunities within the growing practice.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program.
- Board certification in Family Medicine.
- Active and unrestricted Florida medical license is required.
- DEA license and other required certifications.
- Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems, specifically ATHENA EMR.
- No history of malpractice issues.
