About the opportunity
We are looking for a Bid Manager to join our growing EMEA business. You’ll be joining Soben part of Accenture at an exciting time, playing a key role in helping us achieve our ambitious growth targets. Working in close collaboration with our technical experts and Directors, you will be responsible for supporting the growth of our business by managing and producing winning bid submissions

Working in close collaboration with our technical experts and Directors, you will be responsible for supporting the growth of our business by managing and producing winning bid submissions
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with different business units to gather input to allow you to write and produce high quality bid responses, tailored to each client’s scoring criteria.
- Manage the timetable for key strategic pursuits to ensure responses are submitted on time and in line with client requirements.
- Review bids prepared across the business for quality, including copyediting and design reviews.
- Help maintain our bid library and explore innovative solutions that improve our bidding efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support the development of best-in-class bidding processes, proactively suggesting areas for improvement to improve win rates and ensure consistent quality in all tenders produced.
- Lead the development and creation of strategic win themes and market-leading messaging.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
You’ll have three or more years in a proposals, BD or similar role, ideally in construction or similar professional services environment.
- You can demonstrate strong experience producing high quality, winning, technical bid responses.
- You’ve got exceptional written English and proofreading skills, and a keen attention to detail.
- You’ll ideally have knowledge of tendering processes in the construction industry. Knowledge of the Data Centre industry would be a huge advantage!
- Your storytelling skills are second to none and you’re adept at developing winning messaging tailored to each client’s needs.
- You’re a member of the APMP and hold, or are working, towards Foundation Level certification.
