Why does this role exist?
This role exists to consistently produce on-brand visuals that power the client’s marketing, social media, and e-commerce initiatives. By owning day-to-day design needs, the Graphic Designer will increase speed-to-market, maintain brand consistency, and support campaign execution across platforms. The objective is to elevate visual storytelling for women’s apparel, drive engagement, and support sales with high-quality, timely assets.
The Impact you’ll make
Brand-Aligned Visual Design
- Design social media graphics, ads, emails, website banners, product spotlights, and presentation decks/lookbooks
- Create campaign collateral and evergreen templates aligned with brand guidelines
- Adapt concepts across multiple sizes/formats and platforms while preserving visual hierarchy
Asset Enhancement and Iteration
- Edit and enhance existing designs; retouch product images, apply color corrections, and optimize for clarity and impact
- Produce variations for A/B testing and channel-specific use
- Incorporate feedback quickly and accurately to meet deadlines
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Translate briefs from marketing/e-commerce teams into clear design executions
- Clarify requirements, align on timelines, and communicate progress and blockers proactively
- Participate in reviews, accept feedback constructively, and iterate efficiently
Brand Consistency and Standards
- Maintain typography, color palettes, and visual standards across all assets
- Build and update templates, style guides, and asset libraries to ensure consistency
- Quality-check assets across devices/platforms and ensure export specs are correct
File and Workflow Management
- Organize and maintain design files, naming conventions, and version control within shared drives
- Prioritize multiple requests, manage queue, and deliver against agreed SLAs
- Prepare production-ready files and handoffs for internal use and publishing
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required:
- Direct, recent experience designing for women’s apparel brands or retailers (non-negotiable)
- 2+ years as a Graphic Designer or Graphic Design VA producing digital marketing assets
- Strong proficiency in Canva and Adobe Photoshop; Adobe Illustrator is a plus
- Portfolio showcasing social media graphics and marketing collateral with clear brand alignment
- Reliable home office setup and internet; available Mon–Fri, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Pacific Time
- WFH Set-Up:
- Computer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.
- Internet speed of at least 40MBPS
- Headset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam
- Back-up computer and internet connection
- Quiet, dedicated workspace at home
Your Superpowers:
- Technical: Canva, Adobe Photoshop; working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator; file prep/exports, image retouching, asset optimization; platform specs for major social channels
- Design fundamentals: typography, layout, color theory, composition, visual hierarchy, and basic branding principles
- E-commerce/fashion: understanding of women’s apparel trends, merchandising moments, and visuals that drive clicks and conversions
- Ways of working: impeccable attention to detail, strong time management, ability to follow instructions and accept feedback, clear communication, and proactive problem-solving
- Nice to have: basic video/motion graphics for reels/stories, familiarity collaborating with marketing/content teams
