As a Playable Ads Developer, you’ll build high-performing, interactive playable advertisements for Zephyr Mobile’s game portfolio. Your primary focus will be on developing technically sound and engaging playables that drive user acquisition across multiple platforms.
You’ll work closely with Creative Producers, the internal marketing team, and external agencies, and directly impact performance through clean code and smart optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative ads in Playable Ads format from scratch, in collaboration with the marketing team, Creative Producers, artists, and animators.
- Build and maintain playable ad builds tailored to the technical requirements of different ad networks, ensuring compatibility and performance.
- Review and control the quality of playable ads delivered by external agencies, including technical compliance with network requirements.
- Optimize playable ads for the best user experience, performance, scalability, and adaptability across platforms.
- Contribute to the development of internal tools, best practices, and production processes for playable ads.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 3+ years of experience developing Playable Ads or HTML games.
- Experience in playable ads creation for specific ad networks.
- Good knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
- Good knowledge of Cocos Creator (v3.x+ preferred) or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with Webpack or other build tools.
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop, Figma, and Blender (assets preparation and optimization).
- The ability to work with Git.
- Examples of Playable Ads in your portfolio.
Nice to have:
- Node.js experience (for automation and scripts building)
- Experience with Three.js or Pixi.js.
