MedTrust is hiring an On-Call Staffing Coordinator! The On-Call Staffing Coordinator provides after-hours staffing support for multiple healthcare contracts nationwide. This role ensures continuity of care by responding to staffing needs, filling last-minute shift vacancies, and serving as the primary point of contact for employees and clients outside of regular business hours.
Schedule/Pay Structure:

- Weekday Nights (5pm-8am): $75
- Weekends (Friday at 5pm - Monday at 8am): $135
- Holiday (8am-8am the following day): $150
Key Responsibilities
- Provide after-hours on-call support during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Respond promptly to staffing requests, cancellations, and coverage needs.
- Contact qualified staff to fill open shifts in accordance with established protocols.
- Communicate staffing status and coverage updates to clients and internal teams.
- Accurately document all staffing activities and communications in company systems.
- Maintain current employee and client contact information.
- Run basic staffing and activity reports as required.
- Escalate issues appropriately, including urgent staffing or employee safety concerns.
- Support credential tracking and availability collection as directed.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience in staffing coordination, healthcare operations, or workforce scheduling preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and make time-sensitive decisions.
- Proficiency with databases, scheduling platforms, and mobile communication tools.
- Reliable availability for assigned on-call rotations, including nights, weekends and holidays.
