American Excelsior Company is seeking a Raker Saw Operator to join our 2nd Shift (M-F 1:30pm-10:00pm) Foam Fabrication team. Key Responsibilities
- Uses tape measurer frequently & accurately down to 1/16 of an inch
- Sets up and adjusts large foam blocks or sheets to be cut
- May also operate horizontal skiver saw
- Reads and carries out job orders and carefully and safely operates saw
- Responsible for individual quality standards at all times
- Follows Company established policies and safety procedures
- Follows directions/instructions from immediate supervisor and safely and effectively applies those instructions
Minimum Requirements
- Experience with industrial equipment
- Strong math skills
- Ability to work with measurement devices (tape measure or ruler)
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Ability to work on a manufacturing team
- Solid computer skills
- Print reading experience preferred
- Basic data entry of production information
- Ability to read and follow work instructions
