What exactly will you be doing?
As a Multi-Skilled Handyperson, you’ll be an essential part of our dynamic Engineering and Technical Services Team, responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks across the Seymour Hotels portfolio. Your work will cover minor building works, basic plumbing, carpentry, decorating, and more.
In addition to your core maintenance tasks, part of your role will include assisting with transportation and deliveries. This involves driving company vehicles to transport tools, equipment, and supplies between various properties. You’ll also help with the delivery and collection of items, ensuring materials are delivered on time and in good condition. This aspect of the role is crucial in making sure the team has the necessary resources to complete ongoing maintenance and repair tasks.

Your work will support the team’s day-to-day operations and contribute to the overall upkeep and improvement of our properties. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards and ensuring a seamless guest experience. Your efforts will directly impact guest satisfaction, helping to create magical memories and exceptional experiences for every guest who walks through our doors.

Essential Experience & Skills:
Proven experience as a Handyperson or in a similar trade role.
Solid knowledge of multiple trades, including minor building works, carpentry, plumbing, and decorating.
Full Jersey driving license.
Own basic tools (preferred).
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Right to work:
Applicants to this particular role should have the immediate right to work in Jersey or the United Kingdom (Jersey, UK, or Irish passport; EU Settled or Pre-Settled Status; or Indefinite Leave to Remain).
Proven experience as a Handyperson or in a similar trade role.
