RWDI’s Guelph office is currently accepting applications for the position of an eight-month, IT Service Desk Support Co-op beginning May of 2026.
Key Responsibilities
Students are provided with the opportunity to:
- Work with the latest and greatest technology
- Provide Level 1 phone support. Respond to emails, voice mails, and walk-in customers
- Act as the single point of contact to resolve end user incidents and service requests
- Configure, install, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop issues
- Manage user accounts and permissions
- Work in a dynamic and busy environment, that provides new experiences every day
- Develop customer relations skills
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Background and qualifications should include:
- Solid understanding of computer hardware and software applications
- Understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy Objects
- Basic knowledge of networking, cabling, LAN technologies
- Hands-On experience with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer-service focused
- Good organizational and coordination skills
