Job Overview

RWDI’s Guelph office is currently accepting applications for the position of an eight-month, IT Service Desk Support Co-op beginning May of 2026.

Key Responsibilities

Students are provided with the opportunity to: 
  • Work with the latest and greatest technology 
  • Provide Level 1 phone support. Respond to emails, voice mails, and walk-in customers 
  • Act as the single point of contact to resolve end user incidents and service requests 
  • Configure, install, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop issues 
  • Manage user accounts and permissions 
  • Work in a dynamic and busy environment, that provides new experiences every day 
  • Develop customer relations skills 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Background and qualifications should include: 
  • Solid understanding of computer hardware and software applications 
  • Understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy Objects 
  • Basic knowledge of networking, cabling, LAN technologies 
  • Hands-On experience with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Customer-service focused 
  • Good organizational and coordination skills
