With experience in providing friendly, efficient customer service in a fast-paced food retail environment. Skilled in handling cash transactions, restocking shelves, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene, and assisting customers with product selection with a positive attitude always working towards making welcome recommendations and improving sales. . Reliable, approachable, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team to ensure a positive shopping experience and meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service and assist shoppers with product selection
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety at all times
  • Stock shelves, rotate products, and ensure correct date checking (FIFO)
  • Handle transactions accurately using tills and payment systems
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or quality issues
  • Ensure displays are attractive, well-organised, and fully stocked
  • Comply with company policies, health & safety, and food safety regulation
  • Deal with customer queries, feedback, and complaints professionally
  • Support team members and contribute to smooth daily store operations
