The Role: Group Management Accountant

This role sits at the heart of our Group Finance function and is responsible for delivering accurate and timely reporting across our global footprint. You will take ownership of month‑end activities, statutory reporting, audit preparation, and tax compliance for multiple jurisdictions including UK, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, and the US.

About you: Group Management Accountant

You’re a confident and accomplished Financial Accountant with at least three years of post‑qualification experience working in industry, ideally with some time spent within a scaling private equity SAAS services business. You thrive in a fast‑moving, scaling environment, working independently while building strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the business.

Your day to day: Group Financial Accountant

  • Lead the monthly reporting process including accruals, prepayments, revenue recognition (ARR and PS), debt interest calculations, and R&D time allocation/ capitalisation, professional services revenue recognition, reporting, and WIP reconciliation.
  • Employee cost reconciliations including payroll journal review.
  • Manage sales and other employee commission calculations.
  • Implement and maintain Group transfer pricing policies.
  • Prepare subsidiary financial statements and tax returns (Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, US).
  • Support the Group audit with audit requests, follow‑ups, and key judgement memos.
  • Lead the R&D tax credit application process.
  • Perform employee T&E reviews.
  • Prepare VAT and sales tax returns.
  • Deliver FRS102 implementation effective 1‑Jan‑26.
  • NetSuite system administration.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Strong financial accounting experience in multi‑entity environments.
  • Experience with statutory accounts and tax filings across jurisdictions.
  • Understanding of IFRS revenue recognition including ARR, PS and WIP.
  • Audit experience including preparation of key judgement documentation.
  • Knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS.
  • NetSuite System Administration
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills
