Cotton is expanding its Roofing Division and building a nationwide, scalable roofing capability to serve enterprise clients. The Roofing Sales Consultant is a high-energy, field-based role responsible for identifying opportunities, engaging property owners, and driving sales from initial contact through deal close. The role delivers consultative, risk-focused solutions for storm-impacted properties, collaborates with internal teams, manages long-cycle opportunities, and deploys to CAT markets as needed. Success requires persistence and strong interpersonal skills. This position offers the chance to generate significant income while building a strong professional reputation.

What you'll be Doing


Proactively identify and pursue roofing sales opportunities through direct outreach, site visits, and in-person engagement 


Create a sense of trust with property managers to clearly present roofing solutions


Guide customers through the sales process with confidence, transparency, and urgency, representing Cotton Roofing professionally and positioning the company as a trusted risk-reduction partner


  • Conduct preliminary assessments and coordinate inspections in partnership with operations and technical teams
  • Manage long-cycle opportunities (6-18 mo.) maintaining the momentum through persistent follow up
  • Work closely with operations, estimators, and leadership on complex or large-scale projects.
  • Follow process discipline and documentation within CRM or sales tracking systems
  • Navigate procurement and corporate approval layers
  • Operate independently with minimal supervision
  • Meet or exceed individual sales goals
  • Participate in continuous training to hone your craft while building leadership and sales skills
  • Extensive travel and on-site presence visiting job sites, properties, and customer locations, with the ability to deploy quickly to CAT zones as needed


What You Bring to the Table

  • 1-3 years preferred sales experience 
  • Entrepreneurial and results-driven mindset
  • Comfortable building relationships and trust with property owners and decision-makers
  • Exceptional communication and persuasion skills
  • Assertive, ethical and collaborative
  • Motivated by complex deals, competitive environments, reputation, and repeat business
  • Efficient working in a fast-paced environment, operating independently while remaining closely aligned with the broader team.
  • Eager to learn quickly and improve while maintaining a growth mindset
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) is a plus
