Key Responsibilities


  • Report into the Head of Corporate Affairs, the Corporate Affairs Manager works closely with internal stakeholders to enhance awareness and reputation of the bank by implementing external, internal communications and CSR programs and activities aligned with the bank’s purpose, missions and key priorities.
  • Prepare press releases, speeches, presentations and other external/ media communications materials independently or in collaboration with the PR agency. Build and maintain positive relationship with the media and respond to media inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Pitch media interviews to communicate bank’s updates and innovations.
  • Plan, coordinate and manage media events, employee communications events including townhall meetings and CSR events.
  • Collaborate with other internal stakeholders during issues and crisis and come up with rapid media comms plan, media line-to-take/ messaging, employee communications messaging.
  • Monitor media coverage, public forum/ social media comments and alert relevant teams and provide guidance upon reviewing negative public forum sentiments/ media coverage and in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with external parties and partners in all external communications projects to position the bank as a leader in digital banking industry.
  • Support other ad hoc projects when needed.

Requirements

  • Communications or equivalent Degree holder preferred, with 4 - 8 years of experience in PR, communications and reputation management. 
  • PR agency candidates are considered. Knowledge in financial institutions with internal communications experience and experience in dealing with business media is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communications, language and writing skills, both English and Chinese.
  • Experienced in event management and good at stakeholder management. 
  • Proactive, creative, accountable and results oriented.
  • An excellent team player with collaborative can-do spirit, adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
