We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team at Merton Hotel, as a Breakfast Chef 

For over 90 years, the Merton Hotel has been delighting guests as Jersey's largest resort hotel, offering an unparalleled range of facilities. The hotel boasts 286 bedrooms and 28 self-catering units in various styles, multiple restaurants and bars, and Jersey’s only tropical hotel leisure complex. Guests can enjoy indoor and outdoor pools with an 80-metre water slide and FlowRider®, as well as some of the best evening entertainment options for both children and adults. Additionally, the Merton features kids' clubs and nightly entertainment.

As a Breakfast Chef you’ll be right in the heart of the hotel, so we want you to take pride in everything you’ll be doing to support the Head Chef and keep things running like clockwork. 

Our Breakfast Chef prepares, produces and presents memorable meals for our guests, applying their energy and enthusiasm to every task. You’ll be passionate about your working area and responsibilities, and working as part of a vibrant team to deliver the best breakfast experience to our guests!

 

As Breakfast Chef, you will assist the kitchen team in the preparation and service of food ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times and to ensure that the kitchen areas designated, equipment and utensils are always kept clean and tidy to the standards required. You will be passionate about working with the finest and freshest ingredients, you will be responsible for the making of exceptional dishes. You will take an organised approach to your role and prioritise effectively to ensure the smooth running of your section, sharing your knowledge and supporting the brigade.
