HBE are hiring an experienced Water Hygiene Technician to join the field based team, delivering planned maintenance for a long-standing client across the Manchester and Liverpool area. This hands on role involves daily travel and plays a key part in maintaining safe, compliant water systems.

HBE are hiring an experienced Water Hygiene Technician to join the field based team, delivering planned maintenance for a long-standing client across the Manchester and Liverpool area. This hands on role involves daily travel and plays a key part in maintaining safe, compliant water systems.
What you will do
- Carry out temperature monitoring of outlets, calorifiers, and water systems
- Perform cleaning and disinfection of showers
- Conduct water heater and calorifier inspections
- Complete cold water tank inspections
- Perform TMV fail-safe checks and servicing
- Ensure all allocated work is completed accurately and on time
- Follow HBE and client operating procedures
- Undertake any other duties required as part of the role
Who you are
- At least one year of hands-on experience in Legionella monitoring
- Holder of a full UK driving licence
- Legally entitled to work in the UK
- Confident working independently with minimal supervision
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused in your approach

- 39 hour working week
- Overtime rates: Time and a half for evenings and Saturdays & Double time for Sundays and Bank Holidays
- 22 days annual leave + Bank Holidays, increasing by 1 additional day after 2 years’ service, up to a maximum of 25 days
