We’re looking for a Senior Control Systems Track Support Engineer to join our fast‑paced trackside engineering team, supporting the operation, development, and optimisation of the electronic control systems that power our F1 car.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and support the car’s control systems during race weekends and test events.
- Assist with the development, validation, and optimisation of calibrations for clutch, differential, torque mapping, gearbox, and other control systems.
- Support setup and calibration work at the track to maximise performance and reliability.
- Help maintain and improve processes for efficient operation of F1 electronic systems.
- Prepare and update technical documentation for trackside procedures.
- Ensure all control software and calibrations meet FIA technical regulations.
- Investigate system issues using telemetry, HIL/SIL tools, and real‑time data analysis.
- Provide technical guidance at the track and escalate issues when required.
- Contribute to development of calibration, analysis, and optimisation tools.
- Support wider activities including clutch, gearbox, BBW, and differential systems.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Electronics, Mechatronics or related engineering field.
- Solid understanding of embedded systems, real‑time control, and automotive electronics.
- Ability to analyse telemetry data and spot trends, behaviours, and anomalies.
- Strong knowledge of the F1 Standard ECU and control software.
- Proficiency with Matlab, Simulink and Stateflow.
- Experience with high‑speed data acquisition systems.
- Excellent analytical and control theory skills.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and make confident technical decisions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Willingness to travel extensively, both in the UK and internationally.
