L'OCCITANE has opened a brand new Distribution Centre in Avonmouth.
The E-Commerce Operations Supervisor will ensure the accurate processing and packing of orders and to monitor and organise the Ecommerce team, ensuring the efficient use of staff and resources to ensure all key departmental objectives and service levels are achieved.

What Will You Do?
- Provide supervision of Ecommerce staff to ensure all departmental objectives are achieved through:
- Scheduling work and assigning tasks
- Staff absence management
- Warehouse staff training (including temps)
- Timekeeping
- Control and monitor all Ecommerce processes, procedures, and company policy on:
- Web Operations
- Stock & packaging management
- Storage of stock
- Expiry stock management
- Stock replenishment
- Cover the E-com Logistics Supervisor when needed
- Layout and stock location management
- To provide a safe and secure working environment by ensuring the company policies are adhered to on:
- Health and safety guidelines
- Cleaning
- Maintenance of equipment
- Security
- To recommend necessary improvements to processes and controls when identified.
- Monitoring of Royal Mail, Ireland carriers
- Monitoring of Packing Materials and ensuring packing supplies are available as necessary.
- Ensure all Web Orders are completed as per agreed scheduling and to the required standard.
- Offer support and cover in all aspects of the L’Occitane Ecommerce Operation (if required), including:
- Goods In – Checking orders received.
- Order Processing – Picking/packing/Checking.
- Storage of stock and replenishment
- Temporary cover for the Ecommerce Operations Team Leader as required.
- Assist with all general stock counts and annual stock takes.
The Perfect Candidate:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory role in a warehouse or fulfilment centre setting.
- Proven track record of leadership and team management skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of inventory control principles and best practices.
- PC Literate including Word, Excel, SAP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and barcode scanners.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to report on Key performance indicators and meet targeted service levels.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
