Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Safety Representative Manager (EHS) to work fully onsite, leading health, safety, and environmental compliance across active data center construction projects.
This role oversees hazard identification, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, and safety performance in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine onsite inspections, safety walks, and structured observations across data center construction areas, ensuring timely reporting, documentation, and follow-up of findings.
  • Ensure compliance with Chilean legislation, OSHA standards, and industry best practices within mission-critical data center environments.
  • Monitor and verify implementation of the Project-Specific EHS Plan and Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP).
  • Identify hazards, perform risk assessments, and validate control measures for High-Risk Activities (HRAs), including lifting plans, work permits, energized systems, confined spaces, and task planning.
  • Proactively identify environmental, health, and safety risks affecting facilities, processes, and personnel, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Track and report EHS performance metrics (KPIs), inspection results, corrective/preventive actions, and compliance status.
  • Support incident and near-miss reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, and closure tracking.
  • Review and maintain EHS documentation, including training records, competency verification, site plans, and the Chilean Legal Project Requirement Matrix.
  • Engage with General Contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to verify EHS implementation and alignment with project expectations
  • Support emergency preparedness planning, readiness verification, and participation in drills aligned with mission-critical standards.
  • Deliver safety training, onboarding sessions, and complete assigned inspections, assessments, and activities within designated EHS management systems.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Fully bilingual (English & Spanish) – professional/business proficiency required.
  • Proven experience in EHS management within data center or mission-critical construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Chilean EHS legislation and OSHA standards.
  • Experience working in high-complexity, high-risk construction environments.
  • Ability to work 100% onsite.
