Compliance & Onboarding Administrator (Part‑Time)
18 hours per week · 3–4 days · Office-based (Belper, Derbyshire).
Esland are looking for a Compliance & Onboarding Administrator to join our team and help deliver a smooth, professional and compliant onboarding experience for all new starters. This is a part‑time role (18 hours per week) worked over 3 or 4 days at our Support Centre in Belper, Derbyshire.

Reporting to the Head of Recruitment & Onboarding, you will play a key role in ensuring that every new colleague begins their journey with us positively, safely, and in line with our compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Document Audit & Compliance
- Complete full document audits at induction, including verification of all original documents.
- Process SC2 forms for final sign‑off and update internal systems.
- Maintain recruitment and internal databases accurately and efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders.
- Liaise with external bodies to support compliance requirements.
- Provide wider administrative support to the recruitment team.
Reference & Verification Checks
- Conduct verbal reference verification in line with safer recruitment guidelines.
Inbox & Candidate Communication
- Manage and respond to the onboarding inbox during working days.
- Send weekly induction reminder emails to candidates prior to their start date.
ATS & Record Management
- Provide a weekly new starter update via Pinpoint (ATS).
- Maintain complete, accurate onboarding and compliance records from offer through to induction.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience in recruitment, onboarding or compliance administration.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing tasks.
- Confident communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Competence in Microsoft Office and HR/ATS systems.
- A proactive attitude and a commitment to maintaining safer recruitment standards.
