Your Role as Medical Director
In this key leadership position, you will:
• Lead, mentor, and support veterinarians and clinical staff to promote medical excellence and professional development
• Establish and maintain medical protocols and standards of care
• Partner with hospital leadership to support operational performance and client satisfaction initiatives
• Foster a positive, collaborative culture centered on high-quality patient care
• Participate in recruitment, team meetings, and performance development efforts
• Maintain an active clinical role while serving as the hospital’s medical leader

• DVM/VMD (or equivalent) from an accredited veterinary college
• Active South Carolina veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
• 5+ years of clinical experience preferred; prior leadership experience strongly desired
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Commitment to ethical practice and high medical standards
