We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Receivable Assistant to join our busy finance team based in Marks and Spencer, King Street. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has strong organisational skills, and takes pride in accuracy and efficiency.
Job Purpose
Contribute to the effective running of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions to ensure supplier payments and customer receipts are appropriately managed and recorded.

Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing supplier invoices and managing accounts payable
- Issuing invoices and managing accounts receivable
- Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Preparing payment runs and monitoring cash flow
- Communicating with suppliers and customers regarding payments
- Supporting month-end and year-end reporting
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 1-2 years’ experience within an administrative environment.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Solid understanding of MS Office products, specifically Excel & Outlook.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
