If you’re a relationship‑driven, proactive professional with a passion for the cyber market, we’re looking for an energetic and commercially savvy Cyber Development Manager to join our Cyber team and help drive growth across our Australian broker partnerships.
About the role:
In this role, you’ll help drive CFC’s cyber growth across Australia by supporting sales activity, strengthening broker relationships and contributing to the national sales strategy. Working closely with the Head of Global Cyber Development and collaborating across Underwriting, Distribution and broader Cyber teams, you’ll help ensure our market approach remains aligned with underwriting strategy and broker insights to deliver a cohesive, best‑in‑class experience across the entire cyber ecosystem.
This is a highly mobile role with significant travel, suited to a proactive self‑starter who enjoys working independently and engaging confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.

- Responsible for key account management and performance metrics with a primary focus on strengthening relationships with top 20 national retail brokers across major AR networks
- Execute sales initiatives and strengthen CFC’s presence across the Australian cyber market
- Drive new business enquiries, creating new broker partnership, ensuring new pipeline of distribution
- Elevate regional sales capability, representing CFC as a key regional representative, actively engaging in industry meetings, broker events, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and cultivate strategic relationships
- Deliver engaging in‑person and virtual presentations
- Work closely with distribution team to develop and execute cyber insurance panels, ensuring alignment with underwriting strategy, risk appetite, and broker needs.
- Maintain strong competitor and market awareness and identify new go‑to‑market strategies
- Streamline engagement processes to enhance broker experience
- Provide training and education to build brokers’ cyber capability
- Travel nationwide to meet brokers, attend events and support market engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure cyber solutions are fully aligned with broader relationship management and business development goals.
About You:
- 3+ years’ experience in the insurance market
- Financial lines insurance experience strongly preferred but not required
- Proven business development capabilities from either broking or underwriting
- Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for business growth
- Motivated self-starter with a strong existing broker network
- Understanding of insurance fundamentals and best practices from an agency management perspective
- Strong sales orientation, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
