Here is What Your day May Consist of:
Clinical & Technical Skills
- Intravenous catheter placement and venipuncture
- Administer medications (IV, SQ, and oral)
- Assist with radiographic procedures
- Perform diagnostic blood, urine, and fecal testing
- Anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance
- Dental cleanings and dental radiographs
- Provide care and monitoring for hospitalized patients
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Patient & Client Care
- Admit and discharge patients
- Educate clients on medications, treatment plans, and preventative care
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians and support staff
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care
Administrative & Operational Support
- Manage invoicing of patients
- Support workflow efficiency within the hospital
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Here is What You Will Bring to the Position:
- 2+ years of veterinary technician experience preferred
- LVT preferred but not required
- Strong anesthesia and surgical skills
- Experience in diagnostics and laboratory procedures
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Passion for high-quality veterinary medicine
- Interest in leadership and career advancement
