Responsible for executing quality control programs and supervising day-to-day activities of Quality technicians to ensure production lines are properly supported and issues are addressed on a timely manner. Maintains the integrity of the Quality Management System. Investigates quality problems and works with operations to implement solutions.
Key Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- In coming, In process and Final Testing & Inspection process knowledge.
- Motor Industry/Submersible motor industry experience preferred.
- Precision Engineering Components inspection and drawing understanding knowledge. (In Micron tolerances).
- Having knowledge of Raw material testing chemical, mechanical test and Test certificate verification as per requirement.
- ERP system knowledge for GRN inspection clearance
- Having knowledge of measuring instruments. (Dial bore gauge preferred)
- Able to prepare quality plan as per requirement.
- Supplier end audit and evaluation knowhow.
- Having knowledge of Calibration activity.
- Problem solving techniques, 7 QC tools knowledge. RCA, CAPA, 8D technique knowhow.
- Customer complaints analysis and Corrective action knowhow.
- Having exp. Of handling Third party inspection, Government body inspection with documentation.
- ISO 9001:2015 QMS knowledge of documentation, audit required. Asst. MR exp. Preferred.
- PPAP, PFMEA , Cp and Cpk process capability, Control plan, Six sigma knowledge preferred.

- Writes routine reports and correspondence.
- Effectively communicates information and responds to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with vendors, internal and external customers, the general public and other employees of the organization.
- Interprets a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram formats.
- Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a related field (required).
- Working knowledge of mechanical/electrical metrology e.g.: gages and handheld instruments.
