About the role
About the Role – Compliance Analyst (2-Year Fixed-Term Contract)
We are looking for a Mid-Level Compliance Analyst to join our Central Legal & Compliance function. This is a 2-year fixed-term contract, offering the opportunity to work in a truly international environment and contribute to strengthening compliance frameworks across the Reconomy Group.
You will support the Group Compliance Officer in ensuring that the organization operates in line with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies across multiple jurisdictions. The role focuses strongly on data protection (GDPR), compliance frameworks, risk management, and ethical governance.
You will act as a trusted advisor across the business—helping identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks while promoting a strong culture of integrity and accountability.
What we need from you
What You’ll Do
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Group Compliance Framework
- Provide guidance on regulatory compliance topics, especially data protection (GDPR)
- Act as first point of contact for data protection-related queries across the group
- Support Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) and Data Subject Access Requests
- Conduct data protection impact assessments and review data protection agreements
- Assist in supplier compliance assessments in collaboration with Procurement and Information Security
- Investigate and report compliance incidents (e.g., data breaches), including root cause analysis
- Support regulatory reporting, audits, and inspections
- Promote awareness of compliance topics, including anti-bribery & corruption
- Produce regular compliance reports for senior management
- Support onboarding of new acquisitions into group compliance programmes
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in a compliance-related role
- Strong knowledge of Data Protection regulations (GDPR essential)
- Good understanding of broader compliance areas (e.g., anti-bribery & corruption – desirable)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to translate complex legislation into practical business guidance
- Experience working with international stakeholders
- Confident communicator across different seniority levels
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
