As part of a multi-disciplinary team, we are looking for a Junior Project Manager to support the end-to-end delivery of research and activation projects, from initial set-up documentation to client-ready deliverables. The role combines project coordination, execution ownership, and hands-on operational support, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to quality standards, and in line with client expectations.
The Junior Project Manager works closely with consultants, researchers, recruiters, and internal project service teams, acting as a key coordination point throughout the project lifecycle. The role involves both planning and hands-on execution, particularly for qualitative research projects such as FGDs and online communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Able to independently handle medium complexity projects successfully. Understand the content and are able to efficiently transpose these to a team effort.
- Accountable and responsible for the timely implementation of research and activation projects. Following a standard methodology (e.g., 1 methodology, etc.) or scope (e.g., easy target group, involvement of trusted parties, etc.). For these projects, the Project Manager is the primary point of contact to answer questions and follow-up requests from people involved in the project execution (internal project service team, external moderators & freelancers, etc.).
- Has a good understanding of the project specifications (background, objectives, approach, etc.) and challenge the consultant team where needed.
- Effective communication with key stakeholders and deliver progress updates.
- Able to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with the consultant team and advise how to improve the research experience of consumers and effectively problem solve.
- Understand our client's needs and expectations
- Database Management.
- Run final quality checks of the online implementation of all projects and ensure a smooth participant experience for all projects.
- Budget Management.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree (e.g. Marketing, Languages, Mathematics, Social Sciences, or a related field).
- 1–3 years of experience in project management, project coordination, or research operations.
- Fresh graduates are welcome with strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to understand research goals and business impact before execution.
- Strong communication and coordination skills across multiple stakeholders.
- Good judgment to anticipate potential risks or issues, and the confidence to raise them early and suggest practical mitigation ideas.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable with both planning and hands-on execution.
- Able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and perform effectively in fast-paced or on-site research environments.
