As a CDD Analyst, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to map out the world of our clients (and potential clients) and build a picture of their overall wealth, ensuring we know our clients inside out, and enabling us to meet our regulatory obligations.
The role entails reviewing and assessing all relevant client CDD documentation submitted as part of new business applications and trigger events, ensuring that the firm’s CDD/EDD obligations are met at all times in full in accordance with all the relevant laws and regulations relating to client due diligence and financial crime, whilst making sure turnaround times are met.

Key Responsibilities
- Review CDD and EDD documentation for new accounts, periodic reviews, and trigger events ensuring all regulatory requirements are met
- Apply a risk-based approach to decisions made in respect of new accounts, periodic reviews, and trigger events
- Undertake electronic verification searches on individuals and entities to identify possible PEPS, and any other risk indicators as required
- Assist with reviewing of all 3rd party and related party payments including making requests for CDD documentation and rejecting or approving as necessary
- Ensure standard procedures are followed and checklists are fully completed at all times with appropriate notes made where discussions have taken place, or we have deviated from standards
- Assist with remediation projects as required.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 2 years’ experience of working within CDD or similar or general experience in a financial environment is preferable
- Good working knowledge of the GFSC, JFSC and IOM FSA regulatory handbooks
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take appropriate initiative when required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate appropriately with internal and external customers.
