Our Head Office is based in Stockton-on-Tees and is home to our administrative support teams, engineering & maintenance support team & energy services teams. The Offices are located on the river Tees with close access to walks, shops and restaurants.

The Opportunity
We are now recruiting for a Business Services Coordinator on a contract basis, to cover maternity leave.


The primary purpose of the Business Services Coordinator is to provide a range of administration and systems support services to px Group personnel and stakeholders. 


You’ll be supported with personalised on the job training, coaching, mentoring and twice-yearly development and performance reviews to help maintain & develop your contributions and competence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general secretarial and administrative services including photocopying, faxing, filing, scanning of documents, data inputting, minute taking at meetings, typing, document development and formatting and other duties in line with business need.
  • Complete a range of general reception support duties including but not limited to coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements, maintaining stationary & domestic stock levels, managing mail and SHE responsibilities.
  • Coordinate and complete contractor and visitor inductions to the required site standard including administration of required paperwork & photographs are up to date.
  • Continually identify, develop & implement improvements to the business administration system, support & services that are required at the site, providing training to others as required.

Minimum Requirements

  • GCSE grades 9-4 including Maths & English (or equivalent) 
  • Experience in a general Administration role, ideally gained within a busy office or reception environment. 
  • Confident in using Microsoft Word and other packages to produce professional documents and letters. 
  • Experience of taking meeting minutes & experience of booking travel and accommodation. 
  • Confident in communicating with others, in person, by email & phone
