Reports to:
Sales Channel Manager
Location: Manchester (M5) with occasional visits to all office locations
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week

In the role of TPI Account Executive you will be responsible for a variety of sales administration tasks to ensure the Account Management team are enabled to deliver growth in the SME and Mid-Market sectors. You will also be responsible for delivering sales growth from a portfolio of developing TPI’s.

This role represents a great opportunity for someone with sales administration experience who is ready to take the next step in their career in sales and account management.

Your primary role will be to work closely with the Sales Team to ensure that quote requests are setup correctly and any pre-sale queries are resolved in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for a range of sales development tasks such as onboarding new TPI’s, producing pipeline and sales activity reporting, liaising with operational teams to ensure quick resolution of key operational issues and ensuring high quality data is maintained across all systems.

In addition to the above you will also be responsible for driving sales growth from your own development TPI portfolio, working with several accounts to ensure our brand proposition and products are integrated into their sales journey and any blockers are dealt with swiftly and appropriately. You will manage a daily pipeline of sales opportunities from tender to contract closure, ensuring timely delivery of all quotes.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:
-          Accountability for all sales administration tasks to ensure quick response to tender requests
-          Resolution of pre-sale queries and root cause analysis to reduce repeat issues
-          Key point of contact for managing operational issues directly with our service team
-          Managing your own portfolio of development TPI’s and accountability for their sales performance
-          Understand challenges and blockers to sales and ensure these are logged, collated, and solutions are managed through to delivery
-          Ensuring pricing is completed on time and is of high quality
-          Identify and understand TPI needs and work with key stakeholders to make things happen  
-          Keep an in-depth awareness of your TPI’s servicing needs, and work proactively to address any challenges as they happen
-          Gain an in-depth knowledge of your TPI’s, their wants and needs and how we can work together better
-          To consistently achieve sales targets for your TPI portfolio
-          Working closely with operational delivery points such as onboarding, billing and commissions
-          Providing accurate reports to both Management and TPI’s where necessary  
-          Performance manage all TPI’s with an expectancy of growth
-          Working with TPI’s to help reduce any outstanding debt for their customers  
-          Ability to run your own desk without being micromanaged
-          Providing up to date status to line manager for all key accounts via account planning including pipeline etc 

About Yü

If you have what it takes you could be just what we’re looking for…
 
-          A minimum of 3 years experience of working within the energy retail industry is essential

-          Experience and knowledge of the UK Energy sector (Essential)

-          Experience and knowledge of sales administration (Essential)

-          Ability to manage high workloads and balance priorities

-          A proven track record in delivering sales targets across multiple sales channels

-          Experience of working within a fast paced Sales Team

-          First-rate communication and interpersonal skills

-          Motivated to succeed, with a passion for targets and results

-          Excellent initiative and evidence of good commercial thinking

-          Flexible and adaptable to changing business priorities or team make up

-          Ability to manage high workloads and balance priorities

-          Strong planning & Organisational skills
