Cahaba Valley Animal Clinic is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our compassionate, team-oriented animal hospital in the Birmingham, AL area.

As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, you play a vital role in delivering an exceptional veterinary client experience while supporting our doctors and clinical team.
🐾 Veterinary Client Experience & Front Desk Responsibilities 🐾
🐾 Client Experience & Front Desk Operations
- Greet clients and pets with warmth, professionalism, and empathy
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations
- Maintain smooth front desk flow in a busy veterinary clinic
- Answer multi-line phones and provide accurate information about services
📞 Communication & Support
- Educate pet parents on services and general pet care guidance
- Coordinate with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to support patient care
- Handle client questions and concerns with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach
💳 Administrative & Financial Responsibilities
- Process payments and manage client accounts accurately
- Enter and maintain precise client and patient records in our electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Ensure all documentation and transactions are completed efficiently
What We’re Looking For:
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or Veterinary CSR
- Experience in a veterinary clinic, animal hospital, or medical office setting
Passionate about veterinary medicine but newer to the field? We’re open to training motivated candidates with exceptional service skills and a desire to grow.
