We are growing and looking to add a Part-Time Groomer who is skilled, reliable, and passionate about pet care.
As our Groomer, you will play an essential role in supporting the health and well-being of our patients. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently while collaborating with a veterinary team to ensure pets look and feel their best.
This is a part-time role with flexible scheduling to full-time availability potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform breed-specific and standard haircuts
- Bathe, brush, dry, and style dogs of various sizes and temperaments
- Safely trim nails and clean ears
- Monitor pets for skin issues, parasites, or abnormalities and report concerns to the veterinary team
- Maintain a clean, organized grooming space
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate clearly with pet owners regarding grooming needs and recommendations
Qualifications
- Prior professional grooming experience required
- Ability to groom a variety of breeds confidently and safely
- Strong animal handling skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
