Diversity matters
We are building a brand that represents the people of the world. It’s what you do that counts, and we are always looking to expand perspectives and voices to shape our future.
We see you, we celebrate you, we want you!
Who we are
You might know us as the inventors of the bath bomb, but there’s more to this great-smelling, partly employee-owned, family-run company than pioneering cosmetics. We believe our business should put more back into the world than it takes and demonstrate that capitalism can be a force for good.
The Living Wage Foundation’s statement 'a hard day's work deserves a fair day's pay' is one that we are proud to commit to in the UK. As an accredited Living Wage employer, we put our people first and fight cruel practices like animal testing, promote regeneration, and show that it is what’s inside that counts - whether that’s an ingredient in a product, or the minerals in a smartphone.
The Team
We’re a small and supportive team looking after 104 shops across the UK and Ireland, as well as our support team offices and manufacturing sites. We’re responsible for everything from Maintenance and Health and Safety through to Estates Management and Acquisitions.
Working alongside colleagues in Finance and Retail, we play a key role in developing the strategy for the UK&I business.
Our team has a varied background, and we believe that qualifications don’t define ability. We value each individual for their contribution and welcome different opinions.
The role
Working within the Property Team, no two days are the same. You’ll manage your own workload while collaborating closely with in-store colleagues and teams across Property, Finance and Retail. The role offers broad exposure across the business, requiring strong organisation and the ability to build effective working relationships.
You’ll be responsible for managing an annual budget of £9.5 million, covering Business Rates, BIDs, Service Charges and Insurance. Working alongside external advisors and internal stakeholders, you’ll ensure these costs are accurately budgeted, carefully monitored and effectively controlled to minimise unnecessary expenditure. You’ll also develop a thorough understanding of the UK&I estate, including reviewing leases to clarify our responsibilities, supporting wider property initiatives, and working closely with store management teams to resolve landlord matters.
You will collaborate closely with Store Management and Finance teams to align on operational needs and budgets, while acting as a key point of contact for Landlords, Retailers, and External Advisors to manage our UK&I property interests and lease requirements effectively.
Please note: We may close this vacancy early if we receive an overwhelming response or our business requirements change.
