As a Stress Engineer, you’ll take ownership of structural analysis tasks and collaborate closely with our FS Design Office and the wider Structures Group. Your work will directly influence performance, safety, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver structural analysis to support Design Office requirements and development targets.
- Provide guidance to design groups on structural analysis, optimisation and performance.
- Identify mass‑efficient structures to drive continuous performance gains.
- Manage workload effectively in a high‑pressure, deadline‑driven environment.
- Continue to develop your skills across hand calculations, FEA, material behaviour and structural performance.
- Actively contribute to meetings, cross‑team collaboration and departmental initiatives.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Solid working knowledge of FEA and structural hand calculations, including experience with relevant software tools.
- Degree level qualification or equivalent.
- A good understanding of materials, failure modes, fatigue and associated structural topics.
- A flexible, positive, “can‑do” mindset with the ability to handle fast‑moving workloads.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships across teams.
- Results‑orientated decision‑making and a professional, responsible approach.
