Job Overview

 The Learning Support Specialist supports digital learning programs with a primary focus on Learning Management System (LMS) administration and eLearning content creation. This role is responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing LMS courses, managing enrollments and reporting, and providing learner support in partnership with Learning & Development stakeholders. This is a fully remote position emphasizing Workday Learning administration and course development using Articulate 360. The role includes light virtual facilitation support across learning programs as needed and requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

Key Responsibilities

 Key Responsibilities
 LMS Administration & Learning Support

• Administer the LMS, including course setup, curricula, assignments, enrollments, user access, and completion tracking.
• Maintain and optimize the LMS course catalog to ensure accuracy, data integrity, and alignment with business and compliance requirements.
• Configure learning paths, certifications, assessments, and reporting within the LMS, with a strong preference for Workday Learning experience.
• Provide LMS support and reporting by troubleshooting learner issues and generating insights to support program tracking and leadership visibility. Content Development
• Develop high-quality, learner-centered digital learning content using Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline), converting instructor-led or slide-based materials into engaging, LMS-ready courses.
• Create assessments, knowledge checks, microlearning, and job aids that support learner retention and on-the-job performance.
 • Ensure all content aligns with adult learning principles, instructional design best practices, branding, and accessibility standards.
 • Collaborate with instructional designers and program managers to update, maintain, and continuously improve LMS content, adapting quickly to urgent business needs when required.
 Light Facilitation & Program Support
• Provide light virtual facilitation or co-facilitation support for learning programs as needed. 
• Support program launches and ongoing initiatives by preparing LMS materials, learner resources, and facilitator support assets. • Assist with reinforcement activities tied to LMS-based programs. • Collaboration & Continuous Improvement 
• Partner with instructional designers, program managers, and subject matter experts to support learning initiatives and recommend LMS-based solutions. 
• Identify opportunities to improve learner experience through system enhancements, content optimization, and process improvements. 
• Stay current on LMS functionality, Workday Learning updates, and Articulate 360 enhancements.
 • Apply continuous improvement practices to enhance efficiency, scalability, and learner engagement. 

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

 Experience & Skills Experience
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in learning and development, LMS administration, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience administering a learning management system, with a strong preference for Workday Learning.
• Experience developing eLearning content using Articulate 360.
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in LMS administration, reporting, and course management.
 • Advanced experience with Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline). 
• Working knowledge of SCORM and LMS publishing standards. 
• Proficiency with PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and digital collaboration tools. 
• Ability to analyze learning data and generate meaningful reports. • Interpersonal & Organizational Skills 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously. 
• High attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while maintaining strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
