Key Responsibilities

In this mission‑critical role as a Machine Learning Engineer, you develop the advanced analytic capabilities that directly strengthen and sustain our organization’s operational impact. 

You are primarily responsible for and/ or have demonstrated experience in, with or using:
  • Designing, creating tables, views, relationships, and scripting (SQL) with database systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL, NOSQL, and/or structured and unstructured data).
  • Implementing and using extract, transform, and load (ETL) tools.
  • Implementing, using, and creating Data Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) or data services.
  • Python, Java, and Scala programming languages.
  • Implementing, using, and creating data visualizations.
  • Implementing, using, or creating ML/AI software, tools, and services.
  • Using or creating Amazon Web Services (AWS)-based analytic tools and services.
  • Using and implementing Apache Hadoop.

Highly Desired Qualifications

Other skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include working with; using; familiarity with:  
  • Using and creating Tableau visualizations.
  • Using and creating workspaces in Bluescape.
  • Working with data services in the Sponsor’s cloud environment.
  • Using SharePoint, and adding and integrating content.
  • Knowledge of Agile Project Management Methodology.
