About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join our finance team and support the day-to-day financial operations of the business.

This role will play an important part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, payments and reconciliations while maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.

You will work closely with colleagues across the Global Finance team and wider business to ensure accounts payable processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Account Payable
  • Process supplier invoices, including posting multi-currency purchase invoices

  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve accounts payable queries

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely invoice processing
Purchase Orders
  • Conduct monthly reviews of open purchase orders
  • Partner with internal teams to manage and update existing orders
  • Close redundant or completed purchase order.
Credit Card Management
  • Post and reconcile monthly credit card transactions for the UK Group
Banking & Payments
  • Perform daily bank postings and reconciliations
  • Set up monthly supplier payment runs in line with payment terms and cashflow requirements
  • Support payroll payment runs
  • Process ad-hoc payments when required
Supplier mamagement
  • Review and process supplier onboarding documentation
  • Verify supplier bank details
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships and respond to queries promptly
Expenses
  • Review and approve expense claims to ensure they meet company policy and finance standards
Admin & Support
  • Maintain the accounts payable inbox and task management
  • Ensure timely filing and documentation
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the wider finance team as required

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with VAT
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • First class communication skills, including fluent in written and spoken English, competent at communicating at all levels with both finance and non-finance teams.
Desirable
  • Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or finance support role
  • Experience working in a multi-entity or international business environment
