We are currently seeking a Trust Officer to join us, who is ready to take the next step in their career and become Senior Trust Officer.
Key Responsibilities
You will be supporting the team with the management of a portfolio of trusts and companies, by assisting them directly with the following:
- Client onboarding and the formation of new trusts and companies;
- Setting up and maintaining statutory records;
- Day to day administration including payments and resolutions
- Completion of compliance and tax reports and returns;
- Reviewing trust and company financial statements and accounting reports;
- Monitoring the investment performance of trust and company portfolios, and taking suitable actions as may be required ;
- Liaising and building relationships with intermediaries such as bankers, advisors etc.;
- Ensuring that all trust provisions and jurisdictional regulations are adhered to, referring more complex issues to management appropriately;
- Assisting with the training and development of more junior members of the team which will include reviewing documents and transactions prepared by them.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Your profile:
- 5+ years’ experience in the trust industry as a Trust Officer
- Further education, while not mandatory, is a plus, completion of or working towards STEP qualification
- Fluent in English (writing and speaking), other languages are an asset
- Proficient in all relevant IT programmes
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Excellent organisation skills, accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team with a positive and supportive attitude
- Ability to work independently, use initiative and prioritise work appropriately
- Dedicated and highly professional attitude with commitment to best practice
