Job Overview


As an Account Manager at Zencargo, you will act as the strategic partner to fast-growing brands, helping them turn supply chains into a competitive advantage. You will own a portfolio of customers and drive measurable commercial impact through data, technology, and logistics expertise.


This is a growth-focused, data-driven role for someone who thrives on building high-value relationships, uncovering opportunities, and being fully accountable for commercial performance.


Your Impact:

  • Own your book of business: Drive volume and gross profit growth across your customer portfolio, with full accountability for performance.
  • Build long-term value: Create and maintain a living Joint Impact Plan for each customer, aligned to clear ROI levers: transport spend, working capital, revenue, productivity, and CO₂ reduction.
  • Drive platform adoption: Champion Zencargo’s technology, ensuring full customer engagement with features, reporting, automation, and optimisation tools.
  • Strengthen relationships: Build strong multi-threaded relationships across customer organisations, expanding stakeholder engagement and becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Lead strategic conversations: Run customer-facing business reviews, unlock new opportunities (lanes, modes, supplier optimisations), and present actionable insights from data.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Operations, Pricing, and Product teams to deliver value. Own pricing discussions, rate card alignment, and escalation resolution.



Key Responsibilities


  • Manage a portfolio of strategic & SMB US-based accounts
  • Build and execute strategic account plans with defined growth targets
  • Increase stakeholder engagement and account penetration
  • Lead regular Business Reviews and ROI storytelling
  • Drive proactive platform usage and feature enablement
  • Monitor daily performance metrics using internal BI tools (e.g. Thoughtspot
  • Collaborate with Pricing & Procurement on rate optimisation and publishing
  • Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities based on customer data and pain points
  • Own customer communication for escalations and partner with internal teams to resolve root causes
  • Support aged debt management through AR tool review and customer follow-up

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Commercial & Strategic Skills

  • Proven success in account growth and stakeholder management
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning capabilities
  • Data-literate and ROI-focused with ability to translate insights into action
    Experience with platform adoption and B2B SaaS-like value delivery in logistics

  • Strong prioritisation and project management ability

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Google Suite, BI tools (e.g. Thoughtspot), and CRM systems
  • Strong understanding of international freight forwarding and supply chains
  • Comfortable navigating customer data to find value levers
