For over 185 years, the Pomme d’Or Hotel has been a landmark in St Helier, blending business and leisure in style. With 143 contemporary rooms, two restaurants, versatile function spaces, and the island’s finest cocktail bar, the hotel is renowned for exceptional hospitality. We are seeking a Head Chef who can elevate our food offering and deliver a dining experience that matches our reputation.

What You’ll Do

As Head Chef, you will take ownership of the kitchen and be a key driver of culinary excellence. Responsibilities include:
  • Leading a high-performing kitchen team with guidance, mentorship, and encouragement.
  • Developing and refining creative, contemporary menus that delight our guests.
  • Managing day-to-day kitchen operations while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
  • Introducing fresh ideas, optimising kitchen processes, and fostering innovation.
  • Promoting a collaborative, supportive, and positive kitchen culture.
  • Championing sustainability and eco-friendly initiatives within the kitchen.
This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a forward-thinking chef who is ready to step into Head Chef responsibilities for the first time and make a real impact.
