As General Operative, you will play a key role in providing support to the packaging division within Enva, on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities in this role are varied. Full technical training will be given for any role that involves a specialist element.

Key Responsibilities
- Processing packaging waste including stacking, wrapping, shredding old and reconditioned materials, & washing IBCs in accordance with our EPA license
- Loading and unloading of vehicles as required
- Operate all company mechanical and electronic equipment safely such as shredders, crushers, and wash plant
- To conduct your duties in accordance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and the company's waste licence
- To complete per-shift safety check sheets
- To highlight any safety concerns to your manager immediately and to report any accidents/ incidents to your manager immediately
- To report all non-conformances to the relevant personnel and to follow up to ensure compliance requirements are met
- To ensure that housekeeping is kept to a high standard around the site and that all activities comply with health and safety requirements
- To communicate any issues that arise to the Operations Manager/ Supervisor immediately
- To attend plant meetings, company meetings, training courses etc. as required
- To be flexible to carry out other duties as may be requested of your manager from time to time
- To adhere to the company’s Health and Safety policy and procedures at all times, including wearing the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) at all times
- To provide direct operational support to any and all areas of the business
